In 2009, after 4 years of teaching burlesque to thousands of women across the world, Michelle L’amour and The Lavender Cabaret opened a brick and mortar facility in the heart of Chicago – Studio L’amour. This “Dojo for Your Mojo” ™ has become Chicago’s premiere hot spot for striptease dance classes as well as one sexy venue for intimate events like Naked Girls Reading and Bordello.
In 2010, The Lavender Cabaret will launch three ground-breaking new events – The Hottest Night of Winter, The International Burlesque Fringe Festival and Folies Chevaux – making it our biggest year yet.
